I stumbled on this brief interview with Milton Glaser today. His responses to the questions the interviewer posed kind of cracked me up. All this “oh, this too shall pass” kind of wisdom. His philosophy about what it takes to be a successful graphic designer is astonishingly simple: work your ass off. None of this follow your passion nonsense that all the young kids are talking about. Refreshing. And truly words to live by.
