The crew over at Garnish are running a super-fun promotion: Random Acts of Garnish. The premise – it’s easier than you think to make someone smile. Here are some of the fun ideas they’ve come up with.

How about coffee to go?

Or some sweet socks for a friend who likes to have cute tootsies?

Or my personal fave to date, alphabet cookies. These spell out you are awesome.

Of course, the star of the show is the thought you put into making someone smile. But those sweet printables don’t hurt either. Here’s what we came up with to help make it as easy as possible to make someone’s day:

Sign up for the promo, send in your pic and share your inspiration with the interwebs. Fun, right? I think so.

Today I’m loving this hand-lettered poster for the film Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, by Kellerhouse Inc.

“One is happy as a result of one’s own efforts, once one knows of the necessary ingredients of happiness – simple tastes, a certain degree of courage, self-denial to a point, love of work, and, above all, a clear conscience. Happiness is no vague dream, of that I now feel certain.”

— George Sand

Ack. I am kind of in love with this potential wallpaper by Toronto illustrator and designer, Alanna Cavanagh.

Alanna, if you’re listening, I’ll take the black, please and thanks!
