Sometimes it amazes me
How strong the power of love can be
Yesterday during savasana my yoga teacher played this song, You Take My Breath Away, by Eva Cassidy. I was entranced. Click on the screen cap below to listen on YouTube.
I’d never heard of Eva Cassidy, so I did a little research. She was an American vocalist known for her interpretations of jazz, blues, folk, gospel, country and pop classics. And what amazing interpretations they are! Tragically, she died in 1996 at the too-young age of 33, and the majority of her recordings have been released posthumously.
Today I’m grooving to the sweet sounds of Minnutes (thx to a heads up from Josh at Solar Photographers). You can click on the album cover to hear them for yourself, over on YouTube.
Today I’m grooving to Vancouver singer/songwriter Hannah Georgas. Her new album, This is Good, is, well, good! Check her out for yourself.
